Dr. Frank Meza was disqualified from the 2019 LA Marathon after recording a time of 2:53:10, the fastest marathon ever recorded for a 70-year-old runner. He had been previously disqualified twice and banned for life from the California International Marathon. Dr. Meza died several days following his disqualification from the 2019 LA Marathon, maintaining until his death that he had never cheated. This blog presents photos from past races that call into question his denials.
